Angora
Angora is known for its extraordinary softness and airy texture. This is because angora fibers are very fine, smooth, and relatively short. Some loose fibers may therefore shed at first. This is completely normal and diminishes with use.

The angora in this yarn comes from angora rabbits raised on farms in Turkey and is processed by the Italian manufacturer Lane Mondial S.p.A. in Biella.

The fiber is collected exclusively by combing, not by plucking or shearing. According to the producer, the collection is carried out without violence or stress for the animals (“no violence, no stress of capture”). This method is chosen to preserve the quality of the fibers and results in a soft and lustrous angora fiber.

The yarn is crafted using artisanal techniques built on over 20 years of experience and is selected with a focus on quality and traceable origin.

The Halo Cardigan is worked top down in one piece without seaming.

You cast on at the neckline and then shape the shoulders with short rows and increases. The sleeve caps are knit continuously out from the shoulders with increases. Then the work is divided into body and sleeves, where the body is knit flat with buttonholes along the front edge. The sleeves are knit in the round.
