Flow Sweater

Spektakelstrik and Flow Intimates have collaborated to launch the Flow Sweater. A wonderful and soft fusion of two brands and two stories, inviting important conversations about menstruation and women’s health with its blood drops—while encouraging small breaks in everyday life (which are essential for its creation), particularly during the luteal phase and on menstruation days.

The Flow Sweater is sold as a knitting kit, containing yarn, a knitting pattern (Danish and English is included), a label, and a string bag.

About the Sweater
The sweater itself is 100% wool, the drops are 75% kid mohair, 20% wool, and 5% polyamide.
All wool is sourced from Danish producers.
The string bag is made of Oeko-Tex cotton.

Washing Guide
The finished sweater should be hand washed gently in lukewarm water and laid flat to dry.

How do I make it?
This pattern is for experienced knitters, and the kit includes a knitting pattern.

The sweater is knitted flat from the top down. First, the back is knitted, followed by the front piece based on the back. The front and back are sewn together at the sides, and stitches are picked up for the sleeves and neck. The drops are knitted using the intarsia technique and should be brushed with a mohair brush at the end to achieve a fluffy look.

The mohair brush is sold separately.
