The Axis Cardigan is knit sideways in stripes of stockinette stitch that alternates between showing the knit side and the purl side. Begin by knitting one front, then the other front, then the back, and finally the sleeves. The shoulders of the fronts and back are sewn together, then seam in the sleeves, and finally seam the sides.
